Up for sale is my 1966 Mercedes 230S. (W111) I got it as a trade-in and don´t know too much about it. The previous owner prepared it for painting but that never happenened. The body seems to be pretty straight (couldn´t find signs of an accident) and sadly there is some surface rust due to not painting it. I found some rust-spots on it. These are the left and right front segments of the rocker panels (see pictures) behind the right wheel a little and a little under the front bumper. Everything else looks pretty solid ,original and not messed with! It has decent tires with hubcaps, Becker Europa TR Radio that lights up and you can hear something in the shot speaker and a kühlmeister a/c (need belt and charge). Engine runs nice(no mechanical noises, good oil pressure) although it has very old,smelly fuel in it. It runs and drives,brakes and shifts. The odometer reads 03396miles. But the overall condition makes me think 103396 should be correct!?! But the complete car is in need of a complete restoration!! Decent chrome, good battery. Have clean title from new mexico. Power steering pump makes noise.(fluid change?) Has brown interior that is not too shabby, see pictures. Found letters 250 on the cylinder head, so i don´t know if the engine is original.
