1975 Triumph TR6 You are bidding on very nice restored 1975 TR6 convertible. This car is cleanly done and in great condition ready to go on road tours. She is mechanically sound, the body is in great shape without the usual rust issues, and she shows very well. Even the engine compartment is done nicely. It’s hard to find one this clean. She also has its original metal hardtop with the soft top, hows that for a rare find? There is no greater sensation then carving those back roads in a classic British sports car. If you are in the market for a turn key TR6, this is your next ride. The body is in really nice shape. She is a very solid car without the usual rust issues these cars are plagued with. She is straight and clean. It is finished off back to its original Code 64 Mimosa Yellow paint hue, which I feel is one of the classic colors you always think of with a TR6. The finish is smooth with a nice shine. There are a couple paint nicks from being driven but nothing out of the ordinary. The bumpers are in good original condition. The Code 11 Black interior was completely restored and looks brand new. The carpet looks fresh. The bucket seats are in new shape. The door panels are mint. The dash pad is not cracked. The wood trim is in wonderful shape. She has the original AM/FM stereo still in place. There is a full set of factory gauges. A three spoke wheel adds to that sports car feel. The convertible top is BRAND NEW and just installed this year. She also have a top boot as well as a full cockpit cover. Plus, the car also has its original steel hardtop painted black. The headliner will need to be redone at some point. Lets be honest, you’re not really going to put this on the car anyway. These always just hang in the back of the garage because no one is driving this thru the winter anymore anyway. The whole idea it to drive with the TOP DOWN! The 2.5L straight 6 runs incredibly well. She has good even compression thru all 6-cyl’s. It really scoots well and has great power. The 4-Speed manual transmission shifts easy and the clutch feels great. The suspension rides well and she corners like a sports car should. It has manual steering and power brakes for that perfect balance of sporting road feedback. She rides on radial tires on original 5.5” steel wheels. This Triumph is an absolute blast to drive and now I know why they have such a great following. Overall, you are buying the nicest TR6 we’ve had in our dealership that runs, looks, and drives wonderful. This is a great car and I know its going to go to the right enthusiast.
