Up for auction is a 1998 Camry 4 cyclinder automatic that runs and drives pretty smooth. All power with CD, Cruise, Styled wheels etc. The front head lights and a back blinker where replaced recently, though when it rains the small right blinker can get a little water (aftermarket). Brakes, engine, and the transmission are ok, nice all in all, though the the throttle body was replaced with a used one after inspection some months ago for $50 and a shop replaced a sensor and cleaned out the air intake area (put button back on radio since pictures) Ever since, the idle goes a little high (2K) for about ten seconds after starting. It also started to where after 30 minutes to an hour of driving sometimes something electrical will make the engine rough idle and vacum go down causing the brakes to be much harder, though no engine light (suspect throttle body as well). Haven't gotten it checked out but is probably very basic and just the throttle body sensor. There is a small oil leak from somewhere. Also, the Car was hit on the drivers side back panel right under the back door and on the back wheel by a Unisured Driver. Ascertained estimates from a Toyota dealership and Service King etc. and all said they would total the car since the quater panel would have to be replaced along with unibody straightening and painting. So the dent was pulled out, bondod, and painted via macco not too long ago. The back wheel was just replaced too. The Camry may not sit exactly right. As stated before the Camry runs and drives pretty nice. The front struts were replaced a while back and now one or both make a rattling noise when going over bumps; though they seem to work fine. The tires are ok and the battery was replaced not too long ago. A few scratches here and there and one small knic on the front windshield. Retinted the back glass and the shop stated that the defroster lines might not work after, but haven't used it since. The interior is alright. The Camry has an alarm, but disconnected it, though its still there. Inside, the carpet, seats, and steering wheel show signs of normal wear and tear, but no big tears or anything; basically straight interior with new floor mats included. Regular oil changes and air filter changes have been maintained. Nice driver, mostly factory Camry original, though the throttle or sensor etc needs to be replaced and maybe just an adjustment on the strut and balance the tires as it vibrates a little lately at highway speeds.
