You are bidding on a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT extended cab. It has a spray-in bed liner and vinyl bed cover. I purchased this truck on April 8, 2003. I’m the second owner. The interior and exterior of this truck are in immaculate condition. It has only very minor signs of wear and tear for a fourteen-year-old truck. The air conditioning works great. This truck has been kept garaged the entire time I’ve owned it. It is currently licensed and registered, and the title is clear. The current mileage is 135,280. I have all the paper work for every repair since I’ve owned it, which hasn’t been much. This has been a very reliable vehicle. I have changed the oil and filter very religiously. I just changed it on September 23rd at 134,843. It has a K&N washable air filter. This truck starts reliably every time and runs good, however, it will need some work at some point in the future. After the engine warms up, it develops a knock along with oil pressure low enough to trigger the oil pressure light. The knock started about three years ago. The low oil pressure issue is relatively new. They both occur after the engine has warmed up and is at idle. As soon as the RPM is above idle both disappear. You can hear and see on the oil pressure gauge that they are related. The sound and oil pressure drops are in sequence. I decided that since I no longer need a truck that I would rather sell it than bother repairing it. Someone will get a great deal on a truck that is in pristine condition cosmetically. A $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of the auction closing. Balance must be paid via PayPal, bank wire, certified check, or cashier’s check within 7 days of the auction closing. Cash is obviously also acceptable if you pickup in person. I reserve the right to remove this vehicle from ebay at anytime before the auctions closes.
