Thank you for looking at my auction if you're in the market for a really exceptionally clean Samurai I don't think you'll come any closer than this. Before going further I would like to point out auto check which eBay uses reports an error with the mileage from the deq showing it incorrect. The correct mileage is 124k Selling my 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I looked for many years on Craigslist and eBay for a one owner, stock hardtop samurai. With no luck could I find a decent one with : no rust, low mileage, and not beat up. Every time I'd think I found the one I'd show up and be mislead from the ad or the person was hiding something. Well I ended up finding the "one". This has to be the nicest non modified Tin top I have ever seen on eBay or Craigslist. Everyone claims in their ad, It's extremely clean and an A+ car, as you can see from my photos mine is as close to showroom as you'll find anywhere. I bought the samurai from the original owner who was an older gentleman and an auto ethusiast. He has a collection of mint cars. He did not drive this one much anymore so he decided to sell it. He meticulously documented the service he had done by date and mileage. Examples: 6-17-89 carb recall kit- 16k miles 3-8-91 adjusted valves 31k miles 6-30-93 wheel bearing repack 49k miles 1-9-98 distributor cap and rotor 81830k miles 3-1-99 timing belt water pump 89k miles 9-5-01 oil and filter 99953k miles 6-8-05 tail shaft seal on trans 09729k miles 10-5-07 cat converter 114515k miles 10-4-09 new antifreeze 119130k miles 10-15-10 oil and filter 121150k miles The auto check seems to have an error and doesn't coincide with the documentation. On 10-1-03 the auto check shows 50k for a emissions check, and in my documents it shows 05585 as the mileage around the same time which would be 105k. The dmv/deq person must not have been aware that these odometers roll over and took it as 50k. from the paperwork it has 124k documented miles. I will let the car and pictures speak for themselves. My intentions were to do what every other Samurai guy wants to do, beef it up. Throw on a lift, modified bumpers, bigger tires, engine swap. That was my goal. So I started gathering Jx options that my car did not come with. ( jx options included with the car ). Purchased a set of door panels from a newer Jimny in japan from eBay ( not cheap) and a rare factory storage lock box. The door panels are hard plastic unlike the cardboard stock panels ( stock are included in sale) they have built in armrests and pull tab locks instead of push ones near the lower handle. This has been the only modification that I have done to my samurai. Its been sitting in my garage for about 8 months now, I feel like after all the hard work finding it I will regret posting it on here. I've recently had an opportunity to buy a 914-6 and need the garage space. And as hard as it is to let the samurai go, I'm finding it sitting unused more and more, which is a shame. My samurai is documented. It even comes with the original window sticker, keys,owners manual and documented service done. Purchased and Owned in Oregon. The car has not been professionally detailed, no buff job no fine detail brush work. Just me cleaning it on a regular basis. This Samurai has never been off road. Enough with my rant and on with the details. Cons: small rock chip in window about the size of a dime (has not spread) One small door ding, and One small dent on drivers side hood. (photos below) One small tear on drivers seat cushion, and one small tear on back from moving a shelf. (photos below) (original not reupholstered) Headliner is a little loose under visors and in rear. And now, Straight from the window sticker. The samurai is ready to tow, It's wired and has a hitch. Came with no radio, has radio delete plate and speaker delete still intact.Non Smoker Extras and Jx parts included : -Optima Yellow Top Battery 200$ only a few months old -Clock -Dimmer Switch -Jx cluster with tachometer -Speaker grill covers (my covers are solid no vent holes) -2x Rear Defrost Button, 1x Wire, 1xGlass -Front seats and rear bench seat. ( could use reupholstered) -2xRear striker seat latches, 2x upper handle bars, 2x Seat Belts -Rear Panels -Jx Full Carpet Kit (plus the original owner cut out a nice carpet that fits and looks stock, so I never bothered to swap it out.) -Two Jx Side Badges -I no longer have the Jx front door panels, I sold them once I picked up my Japanese Jimny Panels. -Didn't bother for AC -Set of rear pop out windows -Stock door panels, window locks, handles.
