Up for no reserve auction I have a Ford f-250 3/4 Diesel 7.3l turbocharged truck with 4x4 automatic transmission. The truck is in need of a transmission. My best friend's father owned this truck and passed away in 2008 when i purchased it. His dad bought it to pull a 5th wheel across the country. The truck was non turbo when he bought it and he wasn't happy with his first trip power wise. He bought a nearly $5000 full Banks turbo kit and installed it on the truck along with a Magtech transmission pan to hold more fluid and cool better with additional cooler at 80k in 2007. It has full banks gauges, pyro, tranny and oil temp with boost gauge. I bought it with 95k in 2008 and just a few thousand after I bought it the torque converter shelled at 99k. I had a new transmssion built with the best borgwarner parts kit and all the updates and spent an extra $500 on a billet heavy duty torque converter. Guess all that didn't matter because I loaded up the trailer with atvs to head to the sand dunes last month got a couple miles from home and lost all forward gears. I still have reverse. I am still on the fence on whether to fix it since it is such a clean low mileage diesel, but I have have an 06 chevy that is only a half ton that i decided to keep because of the crew cab for the kids. The interior is really nice. No tears or rips in the seats with nice carpet. It has a trailer brake controller. It has a nice newer sony cd with aux plug in and usb, bluetooth and new 160w sonys in door and rear. The windshield is cracked. It is loaded, rear slider, cold ac. The engine runs very srtong. Starts easily in winter. It has new batteries within the year, and a new 4 core radiator with water pump in 2009, starter in 2010. It has top of the line matching michelins all the way around with like 75% tread on nice factory Alcoa aluminum wheels. The truck needs nothing that i know of mechanically other then transmission work. The body is nice no big dents or wrecks just nicks and light scratches and a couple door dings. The front bumper has been bumped on the right front and molding nicked. The main rust problems i see are in the bottom of the extended cab corners on both sides. Wheel wells look good to me. Bed has been rhino lined. The large fuel tank in back and pump do not go with truck. There is about $120 of fuel in both tanks i just filled them to the top right before getting on the road to leave town when the tranny went. This will make someone an outstanding truck! I do have it for sale locally so I will end auction if it sells. I embeded some videos of a walk around and a quick one of the oil fill cap removed while running to show no blow by. Deposit is do within 24 hours of auctions end of $500. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of auctions end. The deposit can be in cash or paypal. Hopefully something just broke and the trans shop you take it to can reuse the high dollar converter. The truck has only had diesel in it. No biofuels or grease. It had new hotter element glow plugs installed last year and the wiper fluid squitter doesn't squirt fluid. Sorry for the little things they just keep popping in mu head and wanted to add them.
