My listing is for a 1996 Lexus SC 400, Sports Coupe Edition. This car is an example of an absolutely EXCELLENT condition, second owner vehicle. I purchased this from a woman in Westchester County. As a school teacher, she used this car to commute across town to and from work; hence the average of just over 4,000 miles per year since she bought it new. I purchased the vehicle one year ago (see Car Fax report), and sine then, I've put about 11,000 miles on it. This is the best car I have ever owned. I expected it to run like a Lexus, and haven't been disappointed. The only thing I have done is a full-service tune-up upon purchase, and 3 oil changes. In addition, I just installed four (4) Brand New (just under 2,000 miles) Hankook Tires. I am selling because this car is something I do not need. Especially since moving to CT, I need something more suited to the adverse New England winter driving conditions. The car has power everything, every safety feature possible, all the luxury features that could be added to this particular year SC 400 Lexus, all the way down to the Nachamichi 8 speaker, 400 watt upgraded sound system, including the rare 10 inch, built-in sub-woofer and 12 Disc CD Changer. And it's nice to have the full-sized spare wheel and tire as opposed to a doughnut in the trunk compartment. The engine is a 4.0 Litre, 32 Valve, Quad Cam V-8 that puts out 290 HP. This is a true roadster coupe. In 1996, this car retailed for $62,400. It looks as close as possible to the way it did when it rolled off the showroom floor.
