This is a 1950 chevy 1.5 ton dually. It has been sittin in a barn since 1983. It was said to be a fruit hauler back in the day. When i got it the engine was locked up so i let it sit with oil soakin. After freein up the engine i changed the oil then put fresh gas ,new coil , plugs and plug wires, distributor and rotor cap. Much to my surprise it fired up for the first time in 28 years. Runs ok needs carb cleaned but it does smoke.Was told that the rings could still be stuck just needs to be run. Another thing is all the guages worked except speedeomoter, tha horn even still blows. Its got a 2 speed rearend and it even still works. Got brakes working but they bleed back down. Tires got good tread but there old. Cab is pretty solid has some rust in floor and in the cab corner. wipers still work also. thanks for looking.
