Vehicle Detail
1970 Ford Bronco I believe originally was a a half cab with a six cylinder. It was converted to a 289 V-8 by a previous owner. The 289 has a holley 600 carburetor, an aluminum "Performer 289" intake, with dual exhaust. The engine leaks a little bit of oil out the rear of the pan. I installed the 3 core aluminum radiator and a new 160 degree thermostat and it cools the 289 just fine. The three speed works properly, the previous owner installed a floor shifter and it works, shifting into all the gears easily, but needs to be bolted down better. The Dana 20 transfer case works and appears to have been gone through by the previous owner. I installed a "Wild Horse" 4 1/2 inch lift, with new spings, shocks, parking brake cables, and brake lines from the axle housings to frame. The drive shafts are in great shape, but need lengthened if you plan on putting the Bronco in a bind. Bronco has a newer fuel tank. The Bronco has 4.10 gears. The 9 inch rear end and Dana 30 (drum) has new brake pads and drums. The Bronco will go into four wheel drive with no problems however the outer pinon bearing is out of the Dana 30, but included in the sale of the bronco is a Dana 44, with disk brakes, 3.54 gears. Everything is there to go with Dana 44 except locking hubs. Bronco has all the original metal on and has the usual rust. The floor boards have rust spots but have years of life left in them. The worst rust spots are in the bed, between the wheel wells (see pictures) where the rear seat goes. The usual rust spots on the inner fender wells, in the engine compartment. A set of outer rocker panels goes with the Bronco, the inner rockers will need replaced as well. 33x12.50 tires, not great, but road worthy, on 8 inch aluminum wheels. All the parts on the cement are included in the sale of the Bronco. I bought this Bronco to fix up, did some work to it, found another one, and now this one has to go. If you have any questions email me.On Nov-03-11 at 21:24:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Pictured on the cement: Passenger and driver door window Underhood air vents Heater Unit Electric Wiper motor 2 outer rocker panels Chrome bumper (not perfect) Vacum cannister for brakes (never been used) Side marker gaskets (new in box) Door hinge rebuild kit electronic ignition module Defrost vents Inside Parking brake assembly 2 distributors, 1 is later model electronic Dana 44 out of 76 bronco, includes both axles ( I forgot to get one in the picture), spindles, rotors, calipers, 76 steering componets, spindle mounts, brake caliper mounts, (not sure if that is the name of mounts) - missing upper and lower ball joints and locking hubs. It was complete when I bought it for this bronco - I took it apart to clean it up. All the bolts are in zip lock baggies. If you have any more Questions, email me through ebay. Thanks
