Read this, then go check some of the other '38 to'40 Ford projects and what they are asking for them. This car rolls and has an Illinois title in my name ready to be signed over to the new owner. This is a major project with lots of work that needs to be done, and missing parts that need to be found, but so do some of the more expensive cars you'll find on e-Bay and other places. The car is stored inside and just as I got it so I know very little to nothing about it, I did not do any of the work, and I don't know who did. The car is being sold as-is, where is, pick up to be arranged by buyer. It needs to be picked up before the snow flies here or I may not be able to get it out of the shed it's in. The car is in Shannon, Illinois 61078, (northwest Illinois). It's a 1938 Ford 2 door sedan body on a S-10 chassis. It looks like the frame has been shortened, and it steers. The floor in the passenger compartment has been replaced, but there is no trunk floor, no eng., trans., or interior. There is a winshield and one of the split rear windows, no side glass, window regulators, or garnish moldings. The doors open & close and are solid, there is lower rust in the quarters between the door & rear fenders and the rear tail pan is junk. The trunk lid, and fenders have rust & dents but could be used for a beater or rat rod. The front fenders look to me like they may be from a '39 Deluxe or a '40. The grill & hood top look like they are from a '38 or '39 Ford truck. Ask any and all questions and I'll do my best to answer.
