I inherited this car and this is what I know about it. My dad purchased this car in 1990, prior to his purchase it sat outdoors exposed to the elements for about 20 years and was in very poor condition. He kept the car in the dry after purchase as he tinkered with it over the years. He sandblasted and painted the frame. He replaced the front fenders, hood, bumpers, grill with pieces in better condition. He replaced the engine/transmission front suspension and most other mechanical parts from a 1960 Cadillac Hearse he once owned. He replaced the front half of the floor board with the hearse floor and then reinforced it with sheet metal. He replaced the trunk lid. He replaced the dash and steering wheel. The seat in it comes from the hearse. He covered the car with a coat of black paint to protect it from further rust. The car runs and rides good, it has a good windshield and it has most, if not all, of the exterior trim and chrome either on the car or stored in the trunk. The car is missing the rear seat and interior panels. The convertible top frame is complete, but is rusty. The floors where the rear seat would be located have rust holes and the trunk pans have rust holes. The rocker panels and rear quarter panels are very rusty, but new rockers are included with the car. The mileage shown on the odometer is not the actual mileage of the car since all the dash pieces came from another parts car. The title is clear, the buyer assumes responsibility of pick up or delivery. US buyers only. The floors in the trunk and rear seat area are very rusty with large holes, I will try to add some pictures, but they have not turned out well. I have the original motor, but if you want it I will need help getting it out of storage. I do have a four door that is mostly complete which was used for parts for this convertible. I will be willing to sell it at an additional cost if the buyer wants it. I also have parts from two other 59 cadillacs that my father parted out that I would be willing to sell at an additional cost. Please e-mail with other questions.
