1976 Chevrolet Corvette This is a really nice 1976 Corvette that is one of 7,845 built with a 4-speed (non M21) and its in exceptional condition. This car really shines with its Code 72 Red paint (only 4,590 produced) and Saddle Leather Interior. The engine compartment is very clean and this car is something you would be proud to take to car shows and events. It is owned by a local collector who is looking to reduce his collection. He has gone over the car to make sure it was mechanically sound so he would never get stuck or broken down. If you are looking for a confident driver in fantastic condition that only needs a new garage to sit in, this is your next Vette. The body is in real nice shape. The fiberglass shows no damage. The doors open and close easy. It has one repaint and it shows well. There is some minor crazing on the hood under the finish and some micro blisters. The finish has a very nice shine to it and she sparkles in the sun. The underside is clean driver condition. The glass is in nice shape. The T-Tops fit well. She really shows nicely and has eye appeal. The interior is very nice! The Saddle leather seats are in great shape with no cracks or virtually no patina. They look almost like new. The door panels are in great shape. The carpet is clean. The dash doesn’t have any cracks. The gauge clusters are very clean. The console is in wonderful condition. She has power windows, tilt steering, factory A/C, factory AM/FM Stereo, and T-Top bags. The L48 350 engine runs well. It fires right up and idles smooth. The engine is correctly detailed and still retains its distributor shielding. Even the underhood pad is in place. The 4-Speed manual transmission shifts smooth and the clutch feels good. It’s equipped with power steering and power disc brakes to make this an easy driving sports car. The suspension rides nice and she drives down the road very well. It rides on white letter radial tires on the original 15x8 wheels. Overall this is a really nice Corvette that runs and drives excellent, it’s a 4-Speed – a MUST for the serious enthusiast – and it’s the perfect color combo.
