Vehicle Detail
This is a relist as my reserve was not met. My reserve and buy it now price are both lower this time. Up for bid is my 2002 yellow Suzuki SV650. To my knowledge I am the 3rd owner, the previous owner was a local who who purchased the bike from someone in Ohio. The original owner put many extras into this bike and took excellent care of the bike. For being a 2002 and 10 model years old, many people ask me if it is new. I have never seen a 9 yr old bike in better shape than this one. The bike has never been dropped and has never been in an accident. The condition of the bike is excellent and what you would expect to see if it was in a dealership's used bike showroom There are no dents anywhere on the bike, there are two small scratches on the underside of the tail section from the previous owner using bungee tiedowns. Modifications made to the bike are Vance and Hines S4 full stainless steel exhaust, front stainless steel braided brake lines, cruise control throttle lock, bar end mirrors, powerbronze rear tire hugger, radiator covers and chin spoiler, dynojet stage 1 jet kit, stiffer front fork springs .85kg/mm with 15wt fork oil, "custom" undertail kit and a new Shinko Verge 011 rear tire with roughly 150 miles on it. It also has a PA inspection sticker good until Oct. 2012. It was just in the shop for inspection, rear tire and chain lube. I do not do stunts with this bike and ride like the 35 yr old adult that I am. The bike has always been stored in a garage and has no rust or pitting. I have both original keys, a clean PA title in my wife's name, as well as the tool kit for this bike. This bike has been a complete joy to ride, great for beginners or someone with 14 yrs experience. I haven't really checked the mpg, but would guess it to be 45-50 mpg. The torque of the v-twin is ever apparent, in every gear and is a completely different experience than an inline 4 or parallel twin. This has been my favorite bike I have owned so far. I plan to get a used SV1000 or RC51 in the spring time. I have a youtube video posted, search for "2002 Suzuki SV650 Erie PA" If you have any questions you can sent them to me (Matt) at mrbowerman@gmail.com. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
