1950 Chevrolet Pick up / 5 window / Short bed 1/2 ton Up for sale is a 1950 Chevrolet pick up that has been in California its entire life. 3 owner truck according to registration records. This truck is a daily driver, engine runs well and is very reliable. This is a great truck to be a driver while also being able to work on it or just enjoy it just as is. See link below for video of test drive Engine 235 engine out of a 1957 Chevrolet truck Engine Serial #F728A According to this website - http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...ine.htm#57eng/ (scroll to bottom of page "1957" ) F=Flint / Assembly plant 7= Month / July 28= Day of month A=Regular "235" Engine - 6 Cylinder 12 volt Runs excellent,just tuned up Good compression Transmission 4 speed on the floor, has low 1st grany gear Body All original, nothing cut, floor boards are solid on both driver/passenger side with only a small 2" hole on the transmission cover ( looks like is had cancer on the corner cover and it was bent off). Cab corners cancer free, light surface rust on tailgate seam. Chrome grill in good condition, two bars have dents in them. Front bumper is good shape, Rear bumper is a utility style. Older plywood in bed, wood strips removed. Interior All glass in fair to good shape, drivers and passenger glass has hairline crack, rear window has hair line crack, both rear corner glass in good condition. Bench seat / door panels have been re-upholstered. Gauges in good shape of which they all work, gauges below dash work great also.Turn signals, Headlights/Brake-lights work. Brakes Brakes work well, master cylinder rebuilt, new wheel cylinders in rear. Tires 235/75/15 Radial Tires, 70% Tread life Stock suspension front and rear, still has stock rear end Clear California title and registration just paid until OCT 2012, VIN # on title matches VIN on door jamb.
