Thank you for looking at my listng. You are looking at a 1972 factory skyroof Chevy Nova. You are bidding on a super rare nova, skyroofs are a very rare car. This car was originally light blue. Someone put a piece of metal in the roof where the skyroof was. They did not cut the original roof and can easily be changed back. i have seen the hardware for skyroofs on ebay and it ranges $500-800 or you can get a reproduction roof and just make it a hard top. Some people love the skyroof some peole don't. It is like 1 of 850 cars. this car does have a litlle bit of rust in the rear quarters around the size of a half dollar. You willsee in he photos i taped a quarter to the quarter panel for comparison so you know what you are looking at. Passenger front fender is starting to get bubbles in the bottom towards the door. The roof looks like it is rusty in the photos but it is not just surface, still solid. You will see in a photo that i took a piece of sandpaper and ran over it fast and you will see where it shined up, trunk pan is the same way with just surface rust, does have a bad trunk seal so water got in it, you will see in the photos i took a peice of sandpaper again on a couple of spots for more than 15 seconds and it polished right up. i will guarantee in this auction that the trunk pan has no major rust, pin holes or regular holes. No soft spots. If you look at the photos that I took the roof was not cut and there is a picture of the data plate to prove it is a factory skyroof car. This car would make a nice restoration project. Sorry for the photos but the cars are pinned in tight . The car is dirty and has not been washed, waxed or detailed.
