Great old MB 300TDT Wagon. I've owned this car for 11 years. It was my daily driver for nine. Built like a tank and perfect for SVO, WVO or biodiesel conversion. The Good: Starts and runs perfectly--even when cold. NO smoke. Uses NO oil. Great power. 28-30 MPG. New huge battery. Shifts well. Seats OK. Great heater. Windows all work. Very straight body. Good tires. The Bad: Ticking noise in valvetrain--timing chain? Car's been sitting for two years so the brake rotors are rusty. Brakes work OK, but pulsate--should clear up. No third seat. AC, CC, PL don't work. The Ugly: Paint very old, clear pealing. Dash very cracked. Windshield cracked. Surface rust on hatch--see pics. A neat old car for a good price. It would be best for the buyer to arrange shipping, to get the best price, but I'll be available to help load the car if necessary. If I knew what the ticking noise was, I wouldn't hesitate to say "drive it home!".
