Vehicle Detail
I am listing this Studebaker Pickup for a friend...he has quite a few nice cars and wants to downsize his collection since he rarely drives them. This auction is for a 1964 Studebaker Champ Spaceside (fleetside) longbed pickup truck. The truck is really appealing looking as you never see these in nice, fixed up shape too often. My friend bought it from an old employee that had had it for years and was told that this truck was his "baby". Looks like it might be an older restoration..possibly the '70's? judging by the brown paint job. V8 engine runs well..but has an exhaust leak, sound like a donut or flange leak to me. Overall the interior is really exceptional! The paint is older and does have some nicks that have been touched up using a little bit darker paint so its not as bad as no paint but you can see the "repair". Looks like an earlier "cyclops" speedometer was added or perhaps it was an accessory. The interior is really nice in this truck..the dash is just amazing in its condition...runs and drives, granny low gears in the trans and the clutch is a little stiff...afterall this was when it was intended to be a work truck not luxury car right? The bed of the truck has some sort of rhino lining or spray on bed liner and a heavy rubber mat in the center. Mileage listed is simply to fill out Ebays listing form..true mileage is not known at the time of this listing. Comes with a shop manual too. Clean title in hand, currently registered...this car is for sale NO RESERVE!! TERMS: Ask all questions before you bid!
