This is a 2002 DODGE 3500 VAN It seats 12 people plus driver. It has swing type bus style door for easy loading. Also has rear wheelchair lift. The vehicle is free from damage except for the rear bumper where lift is located the safety plate is bend so it does not latch we have used a small tie down works great and take 10 sec to put on. The bend makes the lift hard properly come down but all the parts work and lift motor is good I believe it just needs adjustment. Mechanically it is sound drives great motor brakes, transmission all without problems or any known defects. It does need a new right front tire soon but it is safe for driving it is just getting worn. We are using this vehicle to take my family to the boo house so obviously I feel it’s safe. Would be a great addition to a church, youth group, basketball travel team or just as a backup van for someone who needs wheelchair transportation. This was a fleet vehicle so it has been serviced regularly. Sate inspection good till Aug 2012. You need a 10 foot clearance as this is the maxi van so passengers can stand upright. There are also two baby seats built into the chairs so it great if you have small children. I have been surprised at the good gas mileage it gets.114,288 but it will be a little higher maybe 100 miles when you buy it like I said we are going to boo house. Pick up only or if you are within 100 miles or so of Charlottesville I’d be happy to drive it to you or meet somewhere to save you travel.
