1971 Honda CT 70 H If you are looking for a great restoration project over the winter, this is the one! This is a really neat CT. This is the rare H model that has a 4 speed transmission and a manual clutch. These bikes (in my opinion) are a heck of lot more fun to ride on the trails than the automatics. This one also has the speedo with the 4 gear position indicator showing at what speed to change gears. Engine serial # is SL 70E 112016 May not be the original engine. This CT is a great start and very worthy of complete restoration. It is not running but the engine has good compression and the transmission seams to shift fine. It will need an ignition switch, and is missing a few minor parts: the left crankcase cover, the chain guard, and the chrome trim on the exhaust. (Please look closely at the photos). It has a good magneto and lots of other good parts. I tried the magneto on the 71 CT and it is a perfect fit. The bad news is I noticed that the keyway on the crank has some wear and may require the crank to be replaced. the motor that I found has a good crank and magneto and will be included for free with the sale.
