Selling my 2002 BMW K1200LTE. I purchased it May 2006 with 5,699 miles. I have all service records from Trans-Am Cycle Sales in Lititz, Pa. Everything is up to date, including oil change and new tires. Along with receipts I have a log book that I record EVERYTHING, including every gas fill with gas milage recorded. My pictures shows the first and last page of the book. This bike has been a great experience. The only repairs have been Throttle cables and slave cylinder, ( just done last year). Most of the miles came from back and forth to work. While sitting at work it was ALWAYS covered daily with a full cover to protect it from the sun, dust, rain, ETC. Anyone not familiar with the LTE, it was the top of the K series line. From the factory it came with GPS, CB, Intercom, 6 CD changer and probably more things I don't realize. Starting in October 2007 I started burning Top Tier Gas. Something I strongly beleive in. Google Top Tier Gas for more details. The reason I did not take pictures of marks or damage on paint is because there are not any that are noticable or big enough to take a picture of. Paint and mechanically this bike is in Very Very Good condition. List of features are, 1. Intercom 2. J-Pegs 3. Cee Bailey windshield 4. CB. 5. 6 CD changer. 6. GPS (NAV) 7. Power windshield. 8. I wll add that the reason for selling it is because my wife & I have starting enjoying convertibles more then motorcycling. I just can't afford both. I did enjoy this BMW so much that I stuck with BMW for my convertible. Been riding for 33 years and have owned 15 motorcycles, Yamaha, Suzuki, Goldwings, & Harley Dressers , and nothing comes close to the ride and handling of the BMW K12LT. This K12LT has cruise control and reverse.
