True California 1966 Chevelle 396 Super Sport in the middle of a Classic Car Restoration. The good: *Rust Free Body work completed and painted Marina Blue Poly, PPG #13148 blue with Pearl colored Rally Racing Stripes.* *396 Engine replaced by a rebuilt 454 big block #361959 and mild RV Cam, steel heads #3964290.* *PowerGlide Transmission replaced with Muncie M20 case# 3851325. Clutch pedal installed only needs the shift knob installed.* *Dough Thorley Chrome Headers 3/1/2 inch collectors and a dual 3 1/2 inch flow master muffler exhaust system.* *New radiator to keep the motor nice and cool.* *New Front and Rear Chrome Bumpers.* *Front Suspension has been rebuilt with Year one parts. Upper/lower control arms/shocks/bushings.* *Front Brakes have been converted to Power Disc Brakes.* *Welds Aluminum Racing wheels with New Goodyear Tires.* The Bad: Needs front windshiel and rear glass, some of the exterior trim, and some motor accessories(carb,spark plugs,distributor,etc) . The interior needs to be redone. Needs to be washed and waxed due to the collection of dust. Conclusion: Hate to sell my Chevelle that i once hope to finish up but as you can see by the pictures, it has been sitting in my garage collecting dust and used as a storage container. Don't spend your money on restoring a non-Super Sport Chevelle. Finish my Chevelle SS and it will be a great investment.
