1956 Chevrolet Belair Custom You are bidding on a very cool old school cruiser 1956 Belair. She has all the right 50’s styling: Lowered stance, continental kit, lakepipes, custom Diamond pleat interior, spotlights, old school pinstripping, and window etching. This is one smooth cruiser that drives well, and will be a great car to take to local car shows and cruise nights. It has had the same owner for the last 17 years! Long time ownership means this is a great car, no one holds onto a bad car that long! The body on this car is in nice shape. The underside is solid. The frame is in great shape with no rot. The body panels are straight and in nice condition. The silver and burgundy paint shows well. It has a nice gloss shine to it with a smooth finish. She has some cool custom touches. The rear antenna has been frenched in. There is a custom tube grill. Dummy spotlights are mounted up from. It has skirts and a continental kit with spare tire. The cover has a cool NJ Diner seen with this car airbrushed on. In front of the lake pipes is molded in to cover the front. She has tasteful old school pinstripping. The glass is in nice shape with tastefully done window etching. Underneath is a set of neon lights to add to the showmanship. As if the outside of this Belair doesn’t set it apart at the shows, the interior will. It is done with custom Diamond pleat pattern on the seats, door and side panels. The headliner appears new, done in black vinyl. The black carpet appears to be newly done as well. She has custom made pillows on the back seat. In the dash is a Sanyo AM/FM/Cassette Stereo. Under the dash is a pair of Oil and Water gauges. A three spoke wheel Chevy from the late 60’s gives that sporty appearance. Mounted to the floor is a Hurst automatic shifter that looks like a manual shifter. This 56 Belair is powered by a 305 small block Chevy 4bbl. It was enhanced with aftermarket valve covers and air cleaner, Accel Super Coil, Headers into Dual Glasspacks. She has an automatic transmission that shifts smooth. She has manual steering and manual brakes for that vintage feel. This Shoebox rides on wide white wall tires with Lancer hubcaps. She drives very nice down the road and is something you can take on road trips with little issue.
