Watch the video of it running below! This is a 1943 Ford GPW I am listing for a friend. Own a piece of World War II era history. This was a barn find vehicle that has since been brought up to running condition. As can be seen in the pictures, it will need extensive restoration work to bring it back to it's former military glory. I have tried to picture as many of the "troubled" areas as I could. It does have 2 small rust holes in the rear cargo area and under the vehicle, on the running boards, some rust-through can be seen. I could not find all of the identifying numbers needed, with the exception of the number stapmped below the distributor- L294. If you know where the other numbers are located, let me know. I am certainly not an authority on this type of vehicle, so please, if you are interested in bidding, ask any questions necessary. It starts from cold very easily and the flat head 4 engine (despite my poor camera sound) is very quiet and smooth. The transmission and transfer case work and shift as they should, and 4wd is fully operational. The brakes will need work. Also included in the sale, and also pictured are several misc. parts. All of the correct paperwork is in order, and in the current owner's name. It has been registered as non-operational so no fees will be associated with renewing the registration for the next owner. For sale internationally. The vehicle can be held for an agreed upon amount of time while transport is being arranged-- as long as it has been paid in full per the auction terms. In this case, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 US is due within 48 hours of the auction's end. Full payment is due within 7 days. Payment can be made by cash, cashier's check, or wire transfer.
