Bought her last march. Has been an adventure to say the least. The car had been stored 4 years. Replaced the gas tank and the fuel pump. It has a new battery. Replaced power steering hose, pressure side. The transmission hoses started to leak, installed transmission oil cooler. Right front caliper locked up, replaced the caliper and pads, the rotor still needs to be turned. Started running badly and smelling fuel, replaced the fuel injectors. Was purring like a kitten. Started overheating, replaced thermostat and gasket. Overheated, found a hole in the resevoir, replaced canister and hoses. Overheated, bled air out of system and she still overheats. The radiator seems to have a pinhole. If I spend any more money on her, I will be divorced. Could be water pump, radiator, or head gasket. I lost all my tools in hurricane Katrina and don't want to buy everything to do the head gasket. My loss, your gain if you are handy. I have replaced her with a 04 Mazda Tribute and need the cash to get it converted to right hand drive. Will need to be put on a trailer, she overheats at about 5 miles. After this repair, she needs exhaust and the rotor turned. Thanks for looking. It has an automatic trans. not manual.
