Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my old faithful Suburban. I am the one and only owner of this vehicle and should be able to tell you everything you need to know about it. The vehicle is 11 years old and is no showpiece as you will soon see, but it gets you from point A to B faithfully everytime. The motor was replaced at 175,000 miles (or there about) and it has basically been sitting in my garage for the past year, with a little limited farm detail. So see below for the good, the bad and the ugly... Exterior Front - there are some scratches on the hood, probably no more than you would expect with a 11 year old work vehicle. Both headlights work. The front plastic piece is off but I have it and am including it with the sale. The driver running light does not work. The engine was swapped at 175,000 miles and runs fine. Since the vehicle was sitting for long lengths of time, I noticed the battery was draining. I added a bypass switch on the battery that disconnected the batt from the power (see pic). Not sure if it was draining because of age or some system was causing it to drop. Either way, we quick fixed it by adding the bypass that works fine, it's just a pain to get out, pop the hood and throw the switch. I'm sure your mechanic could fix it, I just didn't see the need to spend a lot of money to fix a farm truck. A couple of spots, about the size of my thumb, are on the hood as well. (see pic) Exterior Driver Side - There is a small dent toward the front (see pic). Another big scratch (4" or so...see pic) on the side. The rear passenger door handle is missing (plastic...go figure.) The tire has good tread (see pic) and there is another dent toward the rear of the side. Exterior Rear - the rear handle is missing (plastic again!). There is a scratch on the left rear door as well. The vehicle is equipped with a "Reese" hitch system and a jake brake. Exterior Passenger - There is a chunk of plastic molding missing from the wheel well. There are a few dings in the door, but this side has both handles. The side mirror is missing as well...all cosmetic stuff. The front tire does loose air after a while, but seems to hold for over a week before slow leaking out. Nothing major, just needs a little plugging or some of that green stuff. Interior - the auto locks work. All seats but the driver seat are in good condition (see pic). I have the rear bench seat (not pictured) that goes with this vehicle. I installed a Pioneer GPS system about 2004 or 5. It does not currently work and I am not sure what is wrong with the system...once it stopped working I never investigated it. It stopped working about the time I put it in storage. A/C does not seem to be currently working, although it did work last summer. It has been detailed a little more since the pics were taken. It also has a remote start that does not work (since the battery is bypassed.) Not sure what it would take to get that cooking again, but it is installed. As mentioned before, there is a tow-brake system. And that's about it. The reserve is super low. I hope I have been extremely honest with both the description and the pictures.Overall she is still a good vehicle. Suburbans are awesome machines and the reason I am getting rid of this one is because I purchased another one recently...same color and everything! Don't need two! This vehicle was a daily driver right up to its retirement and I feel confident that (other than the issues above) it would make a reliable machine again. I drove it about 70 miles a few weeks ago and it handles fine, starts good and works like a 11 year old vehicle should. If you want to schedule a time to come see it, let me know. Otherwise, good luck bidding!!
