2nd owner, purchased 6 years ago, it has a clear michigan title. It has not been driven in winter since the 80s. It's a great solid truck. It is plated and I drive it nearly everyday at work. 248.890.2504 5.8L v8 351 and a C6 transmission, 4.10 rear axle, this is a stout pull the house down truck..Gets lots of thumbs up. Starts, runs, accelerates good and smooth and with lots of power, shifts on time and smoothly. It does not smoke...doesnt burn oil. Chassis and Suspension is strong and solid. All the lights and wipers work.Great Heat. No A/C. Interior is good - some tears in driver seat and driver door was replaced a few back. No radio. Manual windows. Body is nice and has no rust. it was fixed up some back in the mid 90s. the flames were added this year a week before the dream cruise. everyone loved it. New Parts: Battery, Alt/pwr strg belts, alternator, starter, soleniod, coolant hoses, plugs, wires, cap rotor, fuel fuilter, exhaust and tires. Just about everything has been done. Has a dump box 83x92x10 with room in front for a storage box. The dump box used to work but I removed the battery and charging wires for it since I never used it and the battery just went dead and it doenst work now.. It had a wooden plank floor but I removed it as it was kinda rotted and the first question to ask is how is the frame...its solid and not rusted out. Whats not correct: No Radio, Driver Mirror is missing, Horn does not work, Headlight and wiper knob is missing, wiper knob is missing. trans leaks when sitting for long time over winter. All in all this has been a very reliable truck that has never let me down. I would have no hesitation to drive it any distance. Its 25 years old so expect its not a perfect new truck! thanks. also, the stain in my driveway is from changing the oil in my Ranger the day before. On Oct-13-11 at 15:03:08 PDT, seller added the following information: there has been body work years ago. the driver side floor was patched - rivited in patch about 5" wide and 20" long along edge of floor mat. the passenger side floor has some rust on it also. there are some rusty edges around the cab corners...but the pictures were taken a few weeks ago, it is a clean truck but it is not a pristine rust free truck. As you see in the picture its pretty clean for a 86'. On Oct-16-11 at 17:01:19 PDT, seller added the following information: The sound of the engine is distorted in these videos. First one is a warm start, the second is a dead cold start...some feathering needed until its warmed up, then it idles with well after about 3-4 minutes.The rattles that are heard are not the engine making noise - as mentioned the camera mic pics up and distorts everything.
