DEAL ALERT .... NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! .... Up for auction we have a 1985 Honda Shadow VT700. We are a Honda motorsports dealership and we took this motorcycle in trade recently. This bike has a nice large windscreen, luggage rack, and passenger backrest. Our service department has replaced the front folks and seals, performed a carb overhall, replaced spark plugs, flushed the fuel tank, new front tire, along with fresh oil & filter. This bike starts and runs just fine, so all it needs is a new rear right turn signal, and a battery along with left side cover plastic. There is a dent on the front right & left side of the gas tank (see images). The front wheel fender has a few minor dings, and needs bolts to attach to bike, but it is included with the motorcycle. Please do no bid if you don't plan on paying! Bidders with less than 5 feedback, please contact us before bidding or we may cancel your bid (due to non paying bidders in past). Feel free to call with any questions or concerns to 617-275-3784. Remember .... NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! .... Thanks and Happy Bidding! 1985 Honda Shadow VT700 Specifications The 1985 Honda Shadow VT700C was a cruising-style motorcycle with a feet-forward riding design for increased ride comfort. The 1985 Shadow featured several improvements over previous models, including polished chrome engine components and an updated headlamp. Every model in the Honda Shadow line used the Japanese automaker's V-twin engine. Maximum torque is 45.8 foot-pounds at 6,000 rpm. Bore and stroke measure 3.11 inches by 2.99 inches. Transmission, Ignition and Brakes The standard transmission for the 1985 Shadow is a six-speed manual with a shaft final drive. Dual two-piston caliper disc brakes provide stopping power for the bike's front tire. A single-drum brake performs the same function for the motorcycle's rear wheel. The Shadow uses a battery-powered inductive ignition and an electric starter. Suspension and Chassis The bike's front suspension is a 1.53-inch air-assisted fork with up to 5 inches of travel.
