Up for sale is a stunning 1 of a kind completely custom Gold Wing built by Lite Em Up Customs and the Powder Pro Powder Coaters. Lite Em Up Customs builds high end custom bikes in the Chicagoland area and the Powder Pro is an elite coater in the USA. This bike is absolutely amazing. My primarily bike is a pro street chopper, that is only a solo rider machine, so I built this bike to have another bike to ride when my wife wants to ride too. After years of wrenching on other peoples bikes, I have decided to sell a few of my own personal bikes in the stable to make room for my next build this winter. There wasn't one thing over looked on this build. The bike runs, sounds, and performs like a brand spanking new bike. The bike was completely rebuilt from the frame out, with not a single detail missed. If you are looking for a head turner just cruising around town, or a work horse for cross country trips, this is the bike for you. General Information 1982 Honda Gold Wing GL1100 Interstate The wheel base is 63.2 inches The seat height is 31.3 inches The bike has been kept in a heated garage The bike has never been laid down, and has been adult ridden The bike will not be ridden during the duration of this auction This bike is truly a one of a kind The bike has a clean and clear title, that I have in hand Paint & Powder coat The tank, fenders, fairing, trunk, and the side covers are all painted in truck bed lining (Rhino Liner) The bed liner makes for a really nice finish, while adding a super strong durability There are over 100+ parts that are powder coated in Granny Smith Green with a super durable clear over the top The front and rear turn signals are tinted smoke gray Engine & Performance 1,085 cc four stroke, four cylinder engine that is liquid cooled The four cylinders have two valves controlled by an overhead cam The Gold Wing has a shaft final drive system and has five manual gears You can easily go cross country with the 5.02 gallon gas tank New head gaskets were replaced this season New gaskets and seals throughout the whole engine Amsoil 10w40 full synthetic is lubricating the power plant The Gold Wing tops out at 83 horsepower @ 7500 rpm The Gold Wing has 65 ft pounds of torque @ 5500 rpm Zero to sixty in 5.2 seconds Max speed 119 mph Completely rebuilt carburetor Brand new air cut-off values The complete Randakk’s carb rebuild kit was used on the bike Wheels & Brakes New front tire 110/90 by 19 Dunlop 404 New rear tire 130/90 by 17 Dunlop 404 Both the rear and front tire were put this season All four wheel bearings were replaced at the same time the new tires were put on The front brake has two dual discs at 232mm with two piston calipers The rear brake is a single disc 250mm diameter with single piston caliper Brand new stainless steel braided brake lines through the whole bike New brake pads this season on all three calipers All three calipers were rebuilt using a rebuilt kit, so all the gaskets, o-rings, etc are brand new Lighting Over 1300 ultra bright green LED’s wired though the whole bike The LED’s can be turned on either through a toggle switch on the fairing, or by a remote control The remote control can be used to turn on the lights up to 300 feet away The remote control has four settings; off, on, strobe, and breath mode All the bulbs in the whole bike were replaced with LED’s Semi truck tail lights (60 LED’s each) we wired into the trunk The fog lights are super bright LED’s. The fog lamps are 18w with 1380 lumens each. Inside the trunk and the saddle bags are super bright white LED’s that are controlled by a toggle switch on the faring. This feature is amazing when you are riding at night. Stereo System Front speakers – Polk audio 4 inch DB401 Rear speakers – Polk audio 3.5 inch DB351 Ipod docking hook up (Ipod not included) 4 channel Polk audio 800w marine grade amplify Imperfections There is a small chip in the right saddle bag lid The tach sometimes acts up a lil bit. The speedometer work flawlessly. I was going to replace the tach with a new on, but it has been working great lately. Overall the bike is in great condition, besides those 2 super minor flaws. On Oct-11-11 at 17:52:56 PDT, seller added the following information: A few extras I forgot There is a Tom Tom GPS mount attached to the fairing (GPS not included) There is a volume control attached to the right side of the fairing so you can change the volume of the stereo safely while riding. All 3 of the brake calipers are powder coated in gloss black, not painted. This adds a ton of durability. The fork seals are new and the awesome fork brace adds a ton of stability to the front end The bike comes with 2 keys, and it also comes with 2 remote controls that control the lights. There is a 12 volt power outlet on the switch panel on the left side of the fairing, and there is also another power outlet located under the tank. This is very convenient to charge your iPod or cell phone.
