Up for no reserve auction I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 3/4 ton truck 2wd reg cab long bed, with the most desired mechanical 12 valve 6bt Cummins Tuurbochrged diesel. It has a n nv4500 5 speed transmission. I bought this truck to use for an engine and transmission in a cummins conversion. I have only had it about 6 months. I have put about 2000 miles on it towing with the trailer and hauling stuff. 5th gear grinds when you try and shift into it. I have only got it to catch a couple times. If you google cummins nv4500 5th gear you will see it is common. If you tow and lug in 5th gear the nut backs of 5th gear and allows it to slide back on shaft and not engage. Supposely you can just take of tail shaft and repair it. There are a few rebuilt transmissions on ebay for around a 1000 with the fifth gear fixes put in place to prevent it from happening again. It still drives and tows great and does 70-75 in 4th. This truck has a crazy amount of miles on it 430,000. Don't expect much out of the body or interior. The only two mechanical things that will need attention is the shut off solenoid does not work, if you turn off the key it stays running. They run $125-200 on ebay or you can put a choke cable on it to manual shut of the fuel or kill it with the clutch like i have been doing. The waterpump also weeps antifreeze. Have to keep and eye on it. this just started last month, the pumps are $39.99 at my parts store and one of the easiest pumps to install on any engine. I have no idea if this is the original engine. It runs so perfect, no smoke, noises or any problems. I think it has had injectors or pump work because it has quite a bit more power then a stock one. Truck has a full tank of diesel right now and I doubt I will drive it much so there is $100 also. Truck is for sale locally and I will remove if it sells this week.CLEAR CLEAN TITLE in my name and ready to go. I embeded a few videos of a engine start and removing the oil cap to show this engine is tight and has zero blow by. It holds over 40 psi oil pressure even when hot. I am never going to do the swap any time soon and I have to get rid of all my projects. The deposit is due 24 hours after auctions end in and can be made in cash or paypal.
