People seem to be nervous on bidding on this truck because its been relisted a few times, the below is the explanation why? *****Nothing wrong with it. Nice truck! I had two flake buyers.The first sale was for $3499 & I had this young man beg & promise to have me pull it off ebay as he was coming in on the weekend! & he sent these emails on how badly he wants the truckHow he promised for sure he would fly in sat to buy it!....So I pull it off ebay and this young man totally back pedals and breaks his promise & wordbecause a VW pickup came up for sale in his local market and he was not wantingto drive 1200 miles to Colorado when he coud buy that truck.The sale that took place on ebay derailed because of old age & perhaps senility?The buyers left to come for the truck & forgot to tell what day ? time? etc?I sent 7 emails asking for a phone# and explained that I was going to be working at theDenver Broncos game at Mile High Stadium & need to plan? I asked when are coming Saturday? Sunday? These people simply left for a big drive! without saying a word to me? They just saidcoming this weekemd.......Welll ok what time? Day? etc.Well of course bad luck has it that they show up in the 3rd quarter of The Denver Broncos Football game.And they are in a rage about the long uncomfortable drive & outraged that I am not waiting for them to arrive!I get very limited cell phone reception around the stadium and had missed two calls.So when I check voice it angry grandma & grandpas screaming into the phone how mad they are etc!So I call them back and they are yelling at me how mad they are and how I better come right now!And I explain how I had no idea when they would be coming & how Its 3rd quarter at the game and Iam working right now & cant come till the game is over maybe 1-2 hrs tops but I would call them back within the hour to set a firm time to meet.So im busy working cant leave early till games out & when I call back 39 minutes laterthe grumpy :) elderly man yells into the phone,,,TOO LATE WE ARE CANCELING THE DEAL!So without me ever even showing them the truck they left*** 1981 VW RABBIT DIESEL CADDY PICKUP TRUCK NICE LIL TRUCK! Upgraded with Mk1 GTI Seats & the very rare VOTEX RONAL WHEELS Original paint still looks very good & the sport seats are nice and clean! The paint still shines pretty nicely Truck is nice and solid and basically rust free except a few areas with some minor issues that are shown in the photos Truck looks very good for being 30 years old! She gets lots of nice comments I have a white front lower air damn that will be included and smoke turn signals for that sporty look. Nice little truck to run around in while saving a nickel $ driving! Very practical & useful truck. Starts up and drives well! This is by far the most economical pickup truck you can buy...... Correct me if I am wrong? And in this economy who doesn't want to save some money driving? Maybe you can save some money and wear & tear on your new truck running around in this? These are becoming very sought after and I hate to give it up! but I really cant afford to keep this and my other car so it has to go :( Truck is located in Denver CO. Fly in and drive her home? Or I can help assist with finding an auto hauler or store the car until you can come? The windshield is cracked as is common in Colorado.
