Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice and exceptional Eurovan pop top with automatic trans. It's been well cared for and every maintenance and repair item I know of has been done recently. We've owned it for more than a year and after doing all the things it could possibly need we've decided we'd be better served with a small camp trailer, there by reducing our vehicle needs from 3 to 2 cars as we only use the van for camping trips. I bought a car fax report and I purchased the Bentley (CD) shop manual for it. It uses virtually no oil and drives great. Everything works, the body and paint is an 8 out of 10, it still shines like new but the fiberglass pop top has some sun fade. It's been garaged since we've owned it. The front bumper has a crack in it about a foot long. The interior is in excellent condition and we have all the original seats, etc. for it. Work performed: At 167,000 miles, the head was pulled and rebuilt, new water pump and timing belt, new coolant hoses, fresh tranny fluid and filter. At 179,000 miles, (when we bought it) New Conti Vanco 2 tires, four wheel alignment, AC freon was charged, installed Firestone air bags (rear) to increase ground clearance and also raised torsion bars for ½" higher ride height (before alignment). Changed coolant and thermostat. Changed tranny (auto) fluid and filter- it was clean, clean inside. Installed 4 heavy duty Bilstein gas shocks. New coach battery for lights and replaced one interior light. At 183,000 miles we had a brake job done. New pads in the front, new shoes in the rear, rotors and drums turned. The brake fluid was flushed and rear brake valve adjusted. New catalytic converter, muffler and tail pipe. It now has186,195 miles. I have receipts for the above work. There is still lots of life left in the Audi 5 cylinder motor, it's tight and sound. I change the oil at 3,000 miles and have never needed to add oil and the level hardly changes. The tranny is very clean inside and shifts great. It has been totally reliable for us. We average 20 mpg driving at 65mph. For the money you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in a Eurovan pop top. $10,000.00. We're in Del Norte, CO. Buyer will be responsible for transportation.
