I got this bike with the full intention of making a half fairing naked bike with a solo seat . I wanted somthing kind of sporty looking with a full windshield with the end result being what I call A "Sport Cruiser" . As you can see all the original body parts have been removed. The front cowel is a one off fiberglass with a Concours windshield and instruments panel from a late 80s Ninga. I modified the air intake (air filter assy.) so that the eng. could really breath. As you can see the orig. mufflers are gone and replaced with 2 custom made cans that fit under the bike. (removed the centerstand to make room for the new mufflers). I freshened up the suspention with new Progresive springs up front and a new Works performance shock in the rear. The mods to the air intake and the exh. sys. required major rejetting. The bike has very good power now with low piched bark to it, but not too loud. I ride with people with FJR, Concorse 14, ST1300 and the old ST does a good job of hanging in with them just fine. The bike has been well maintained by me and the previouse owner. I got the bike 2yrs. ago and for reliability purposes I replaced all of the hoses , cooling sys. and fuel lines. Dont be scared by the milage on this bike, there are many ST1100 running around out there with over 200K on the odometer and still running strong. This is a great bike for an all day ride or getting back and forth to work . A lot of people come up to me and want to know what kind of bike it is and to tell me its a Bad Ass looking bike . Its a very good bike for the price and really worth much more. I have left out a lot on other detail about the bike, but I can go over that when you pick up the bike.
