For auction is my 1971 Honda CL450 Scrambler, in very nice original condition. The orange paint is abit faded on the top of the tank and headlight. There is a broken (and repaired) spot at the front, top of the headlight, which can be seen in the photo. There are 9870 miles on the bike. Although the speedometer cable in broken, I have put only a couple miles on the unit since that occurred. For the very best performance, the carbs should be gone thru, as the bike's idle varies at times. It has done this since I owned the unit. Otherwise, the engine runs fine, with no strange noises or smoke. This bike is very powerful and cruises nicely. Chrome is very nice, including the exhaust system, wheels and backrest/luggage rack, which I added. The seat is getting abit soft, as I'm certain the padding is feeling it's age. Otherwise, the seat is in great shape, with no rips or tears. There are two small dents in the gas tank--the largest I have pictured. The smaller one is virtually not noticeable. The inside of the gas tank was previously Kreamed. Both tires are brand new with offroad-type aggressive tread. They not only look great, but are very good in the dirt. I do have a clear Kansas title for the bike. I have listed this classic as accurately as possible, with no other known issues. This bike will draw attention everywhere, I guarantee, and will be an appreciating classic, always. After all, they ain't makin' anymore '71s !! Check my feedback and bid with confidence.
