If you are interested in this car, please read the entire description... This is a real 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport...it has its original numbers matching short block. Originally red with a black vinyl top (rare mid year option) with black deluxe fabric interior. Picture of the trim tag is shown. It is a very rust free car...originally from Arizona now in Los Angeles...everywhere you see red in the pictures...that is the ORIGINAL paint! Very nice floors and look at the trunk floor. Underneath the car is similarly clean...you will have VERY little if any rust work to do on this car. This Riv was taken apart to paint and restore and it stalled mid process...will be missing some parts, like the headlight stuff and some trim. Have most of the big stuff, original LX code short block engine (no top end GS parts though) transmission and alot of trim that is not on the car. All the body panels on this car are usable...it rolls and steers just fine. Have all the Gran Sport emblems including glove box door emblem..clear CA title... Original LX engine is standard bore but stuck, one piston was damaged because someone was trying to disassemble it and didnt know what they were doing. Perhaps you can find a single standard bore piston or you can always bore it out .030... They only made 2200 or so Gran Sports...you see some on here from time to time..but how many have their original engines? This car is worthy of a nice restoration, you will have a stunning color combination and peace of mind knowing you started with the right car...not a bondo or rust bucket. If you ever wanted a 1965 Riviera...this is it! Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early! Also have a nice, crack free wood wheel with rear hub and center cap and correctly dated for this car 3645 and 3925 number carbs I acquired for this project. I can work into the purchase of this car for additional money or sell separate. Can deliver this car on my trailer to an exporter (for $100) or facilitate transportation..clear CA title in hand.
