today we have a 1971 cadillac eldorado convertabile this car has been sitting in a barn since 1985 the car turned 67000 miles as i pulled out of the driveway the car has the 8.2 liter (500 cid) starts right up and runs great the trans shifts with ease front end is good no clicking cv joints it does have the typical exhaust manifold leak on the right side i have ordered new gaskets and i will have that fixed i drove this car home two hours down i75 with no problem i did have a blowout from the dryrotted tires but i cahanged it and kept going the car rides and drives like we remember them and that is hard to find these days i have owned these cars since i was 16yrs old my first car was a 71 coupe deville and you can tell this car has 67k has alot of original clamps still under the hood the top is original and will need to be replaced and some weater seals the body is very straight has had some repair on the right rear quarter other then that this car is straight and could be painted black the car is complete down to the am fm 8track all the glass is good the ac is complete will need to be converted the trunk floor is solid with a little rust starting next to the wheel wells easy fix the interior is very nice with only the drivers armrest having some cracks the interior will clean up nice has all the options tilt cruise sentinal and and auto dimming lights pwr trunk pwr windows locks and seats has the original conv top boot so if you want a low miles classic caddy here it is there where only 6800 eldo conver made in 1971 how many can be left with 67k we are a licensed mi dealer all vehicles are sold as is mi residents pay tax title and plate any questions call bob 248 808 3903 the car does need to be restored will not take much to make this a nice car with a new set of tires you could fly in and drive this car home
