This is a once-in-a-lifetime find! I've owned two of these in the color red. This one is yellow so I've decided to try and find a red one. This is the most amazing 1977 amx I've ever seen in original condition. It was stored under a car-port since 1977. It has 59k miles. I found it in California. I am currently driving it around town. It is a real head turner. I've polished the paint and amazingly it still shines. The interior is in amazing shape as well. The back seat doesn't look like it was ever sat in. The transmission shifts funny when cold and then shifts fine when driving. The engine starts right up and still has plenty of pep. The dash is a little beat up but still amazing for original. The carpet looks ok but not perfect. The rear carpet looks like brand new. The passenger outside door handle is broke so only opens from the inside. The rear hatch latch isn't working yet but I'm working on it. All of the gauges work. This car will make you smile from ear to ear when you see it. Everyone is amazed when they see the condition. NO RUST because this is a California car. New tires, new brakes, new rotors, and a recent tune up. I even have the oil change records from the 80s! In the video it looks bad but it is only dust that I failed to clean. I did not steam the engine compartment because I wanted the buyer to see it as I received it.
