Vehicle Detail
1974 Cadillac Eldorado Hard Top Coupe 87,715 original miles on big 501 cu. in. V8 Nice restoration project, parts car, or everyday driver. I originally purchased this car on September 24, 2009. I am the third owner of this vehicle. In June 2011, I purchased a 1974 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, which leaves me with no need (or room) for the Coupe. This car runs nice and smooth without any dings or pops, the way a Cadillac should. It was last inspected in September 2009 and since held antique plates (which do not require inspection). I have only driven the car 805 miles since purchase. All features work as they should, including headlights, high beams, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, etc. All interior features function as they should, including power seats, power windows, am/fm radio, cigarette lighters, heat/air conditioning, windshield wipers, etc. The features that currently do not work are power antenna, power locks (one side) and 8-track player. The front instrument panel is the highlight of this car. The dashboard has absolutely no cracks or fading and looks like 1974 all over again. The original carpet is red and is also as bright and clean as it was in '74 with no stains or tears. Also includes original floor mats. The white leather seats are in great condition with only one tear in the middle divider of the front bench seat. Ceiling is clean without any stains or tears and has never seen smoke (at least not from me). The body of this car is nice and solid and has never been in any kind of accident. There are no dents, dings, or bends. The only part of this car that would require attention (other than the visibly missing rear bumper fillers) would be rust underneath the vinyl top on the driver's side. As common with most cars of this era, rain would seep under the top and rust out the body underneath. If left untreated, the water could then travel into the trunk which could create more rust holes, as evident here. Since I purchased the car, it has always been under a cover and tarp and has been stored in a clean, dry garage for winter months. For anyone who would like to see the car in person or to plan delivery arrangements, the car is currently located on Mosside Blvd. (Route 48) in Monroeville, Pennsylvania 15146. Please e-mail with any questions. I respond promptly.
