You are looking at a pretty good old 1956 1/2 ton Studebaker pickup.The motor is a flathead 6 cylinder with a 4 speed transmision.This truck is the Transtar Deluxe model with the deluxe trim and the padded dash.The farmer that we got it from said that it ran excellent when parked but we have not tried to start it.The motor turns free but hasn't been driven for a few years.It has the remains of the column shift on it and we believe that it was originally a 3 speed with overdrive transmission with the 224 c.i. V8 motor.The rust is minimal but there are a couple of spots of rust.Floorboards are solid except a couple of thin spots - Right door lower right has a 50 cent size hole - Right front fender has 25 cent size rust hole - both left & right outside lip on the stepboard almost gone - Left front door lower has 50 cent size rust hole-Section in bed will take about a 1 foot square patch.All in all a very solid truck.Windshield has a crack - left door glass is inside of door,condition unknown - right door and back widow glass is okay.Clutch and brake pedals feel okay and work as should.The truck all in all seems to be in complete stock form and appears to have the original paint on it.The tail gate is very nice with a slight easy to straighten bow at the top and opens and closes as should.The dash is nice with all the nice guages and heater controls all in tact. Serial # on this truck is E76813 This truck comes with bill of sale only. The title was lost years ago.It's not in the computer anymore and should not be any problem getting it titled. Shipping will be up to the buyer but we will assist anyway we can. The truck will be stored secure for a reasonable amount of time.
