Here we have an amazing garage find. This Karmen Ghia convertible has spent its life in dry eastern Washington. I found it in a garage where it had been stored for the last 16 years. It was owned by,no kidding believe me, the little old lady. The car is an incredible, original car. Looks to have been repainted once. No rust except small area above right hand headlight where the paint is bubbled in an area about an inch long. See photo. Top is excellent, interior original and in excellant condition. We installed a new ignition switch, which may have been the cause of the long storage. Put new gas tank in and new points, plugs etc. Car runs just great,stops straight, drives just fine. Tires look to have very little wear, but of course are at least 16 years old. They look good. Storage was inside a garage so they don't show sun rot. Car has two small dents in the right hand front fender where a ladder fell on the car during storage. Unfortunately, as is common in very dry hot places the dashpad is cracked. This is a rare opportunity to get a very nice,very original Karmen Ghia which does not have the problems with rust that often plague these cars. Will need a deposit within 24 hrs through paypal.
