This is an awesome find I purchased this from the original owner,who had over 30 other cars in his collection.All this car did was sit on his farm.The mileage is for real.The owner has Alzheimers and is away in the hospital. I spoke with his best friend who was with him when he purchased the car.He also told me that he never drove the car and wondered why he ever bought it.He was a Big Studebaker/AMC Collector,but because of his condition the cars had to be sold.The lucky winner of this car will also be getting boxes of NOS AMC parts that he purchased in 1977 when he bought the car. He was a fanatic with his cars and bought tons of extra parts that may never be used for each car.There is no rust on this car,just a couple surface rust spots that I pictured.Floors, rockers and fenders are solid. FORTUNATELY HE HAD THE CAR TREATED WITH ZIEBART RUSTPROOFING AFTER HE TOOK DELIVERY.THE RUG IN THE CAR IS BEAUTIFUL ALONG WITH ALL THE UPHOLSTERY.THE ONLY CARPET THAT WILL NEED SOME ATTENTION IS IN THE HATCH, WHICH THE SUN FADED IT A BIT. THERE IS ONE VERY MINOR DENT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WHICH CAN BE PUSHED OUT WITH NO PROBLEM.CLUTCH,POWER STEERING.AM/FM RADIO. BRAKES ARE GREAT .THIS IS THE REAL DEAL FOR ANY AMC COLLECTOR. AFTER ALL , WHEN WILL YOU FIND ANOTHER CAR WITH THESE MILES? THE A/C WORKS GREAT PLUS THERE ARE NO CRACKS IN THE DASH.
