1993 Mercury Villager LS Mini-Van 3.0L V6 Engine Automatic Transmission ACTUAL MILEAGE: 168,287 KBB VALUE: $1,600 in Fair Condition I will describe the vehicle to the best of my knowledge and include absolutely everything i can think of. No sugar coating, only honesty. Mechanical: The van is currently running but it is running rough. It was looked at by a personal mechanic that had stated it may need a new catalytic converter and that is why it is running a little rough. The idle will bog down to about 500 RPMS on a cold start as if its going to die. It has never died on me or bogged down enough to die out. Once the van is driven, if you sit at idle it wont do it after its been driven. The mechanic stated that the cat will cause this problem and sees no other signs it could be something else. The transmission shifts perfect, no slipping or missed gears. There is a lot of new parts that have been replaced on the van within the last 1,000 Miles. It has a NEW Fuel Pump, NEW Fuel Filter, NEW Fuel Cap, as well as a recent oil change and NEW Oil Filter. The air filter has also been replaced within the last 1500 Miles. The previous owner had told me he had replaced the water pump and the power steering pump as well. The power steering on a cold start will squeal as well as a sharp turn with the wheel cranked all the way over it will squeal, Not sure why. There is no overheating issues or loss in oil pressure. Has a newer battery from about 1 year ago. Spark plugs and wires are good as well. I do have a new PCV Valve that will be included with the van, i have not had time to replace it myself before deciding to sell it. Cosmetic and Body: Cosmetically the van is in good shape for being a 1993. The paint is in good shape. There of course are a few scratches or little dings but for a 1993 its in good shape.The paint is grey with black bumpers and side skirts. The front bumper is cracked as the previous owner hit something. There is scuffs as well as there is a plastic piece on the bottom of the bumper that is hanging down. I have driven it this way for 2 months without problems. Front and Rear bumpers could use a good re-painting. There is a dent of the drivers side door. It does not affect the operation of the door in anyway. As well as on the passenger side driving light is missing a 2in circle of plastic off the lens. The windshield does need replaced as it is heavily cracked and the black molding around the windshield is peeling and showing silver underneath. All doors open as they should. Rear trunk, rear window all open. All windows work and open correctly. The van has a fully functional roof rack as well. Interior: Has all 3 rows of seating. Front 2 Buckets, Middle bench, and rear bench. None of the seats have any rips and are in great shape. Drivers powered seat works great. The middle seat can be removed as well as the rear is on a track that can be slid back and forth through the van. The carpet in the van is stained as well as a few stains on the headliner. Nothing a good shampooer couldn't get out. The visors are in rough condition as well. The van has a AM/FM Cassette stereo with 4 speakers and stock factory amp installed and all of it works perfect. No blown speakers. The rear speakers are missing the grills that cover them. There is also separate radio and AC/HEAT Controls for the rear of the van. All dome lights and controls work in the interior in the van other than what is noted bellow. **The rear AC/HEAT does not work, rear wiper, and rear defroster as well dont work, i have never checked why** The van has plenty of storage throughout the van. There is storage places in the dash, under the dash as well as a drawer under the passenger seat. The glove box is missing its handle to open and i have not been able to open it. Other: The van has 16in Motegi Racing rims currently on it, with good tread left. They will be included in the sale. The van has the original jack in the trunk as well as a full size spare under the van. Overall this is a great van. It has been my daily driver for the past two months with no problems. I am just looking to get into something a little bigger or along the lines of a conversion van. The van does not have current emissions testing done but i do have a clean and clear Colorado State title in my name and in hand.
