Vehicle Detail

1985 amc eagle 4x4 The car was a daily driver when i got a couple yrs ago and since has been sitting, other than driving around ths block or so. I will list all the basic info and all the issues. It has a straight six cylinder engine that runs good to great, but the exhaust is loud. It needs the down pipe from the manifold to the converter. The automatic trans shifts fine, but its missing the kick down cable so it goes through the gears a little faster than it should. The body is in really good condition, the paint is faded pretty bad but there is no rust. The passenger side door has a small dent and a couple dings(as pictured), and a small ding under the emblem on the passenger side(pictured also), and the taillight is cracked, and in my opinion thats pretty minor for the age. Underneath, the floor pans are great and every thing is structurally sound, but the fuel and brake lines are pretty rusty, they dont leak yet but i think the could at any time. The driver side cv joint boot is cracked and, i think you call them torsion bars, not sure, but their rubber bushings are bad. But it looks like all the rubber on thetierod ends are good. The interior is a little dirty but is all there and in pretty good condition, the headliner was falling and its been tacked up. The biggest thing i wanted to get fixed is the steering wheel bearing or something, it wants to grind when turning left sometimes and i never got around to fixing it. The rear tires are like new but the front have wear, also it was aligned a few yrs ago. The brakes seem in good condition, theirs no grinding or vibrations. The 4x4 works as it should, and it actually has alot of power. I used it a couple times to pull out stuck vehicles. I listed everything im aware of and took pics of all the issues, and overall i think this car is worth fixing, i just relized im never going to get around to do it. If you live somewhat close, 20 miles or so, i would say it would probably make it home driving it, but if you have any distance i would recomend trailering it. Like i said, i drive it around the block in the country, 4 miles or so and sometimes a little further if im in the mood to drive it around, with out any problems, but i cant gurantee anything because the brake lines or somethingcould brake at any time like i mentioned. Please contact me with any questions or to come look at it in person. Thank youOn Sep-22-11 at 20:18:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, i forgot to add that someone tried breaking into the hatchback lock, it still works with the key the same as it should. It just looks kind of bad. Also i listed is a pic of the lock. Thank you
