Vehicle Detail

Very nice 67 Mustang Coupe, 289 CID engine, C4 Auto Transmission, restored to near original condition. Been owned by family members since 1982. Current mileage of 98650+ is believed to be correct, last owner (my Brother) got the car in 1991 with 93773 miles from his Daughter-in-law (who bought it in 1982) He had it restored during the 1st few years that he owned it. This is an original Colorado car with its original engine and trans and differential. It's build Codes are 65AM2B24B51OW which is 65A (2dr hardtop), M (Wimbledon White), 2B (lt blue/dk blue crinkle vinyl standard), 24B (build date Feb. 24, 1967), 51 ( DSO Denver), O (2.79:1 ratio conventional axle), W (C4 Automatic). Engine professional rebuilt bored 30 over, not sure what all was done although an RV cam was installed along with an Edelbrock Intake Performer 289 Manifold with a new Carter AFB Carburetor (625 CFM) (strip kit comes with car) Stock Exhaust manifolds with dual exhaust, new 4 core radiator and new fuel tank with elec fuel pump (booster), stock type fuel pump is installed and used. A new rebuilt starter, new solenoid, new battery and cable has been installed since original listing. Rebuilt transmission same time the engine work was done and had a shift kit installed. Problem: some leaking has developed from car not being used. Rear leaf springs have been reached and and front coils have lift blocks installed so the car sets at original height. Drum brakes are on all four wheels with NO power assist. Newer power steering unit was install. Problem: steering wheel turns 1 more turn one way than the other, I believe steering rack was off by one cycle when new unit was installed. Car was repainted its original color, Wimbledon White after both rear quarter panels were pro replaced, rust has not been an issue with this car. The interior was replaced by me within the last 2 years. All new window and door weather seals were also replaced at the same time. New seat covers, carpeting, dash pad, kick panels, pillar post covers, rear package shelf, sun visors and the headliner (some minor wrinkles in headliner, not perfect) original blue seat belts front and rear. Original steering wheel and the Center console is still installed with speakers installed by a PO, an old school Kenwood with Amp sound system is installed although I did not cut the new package shelf for rear speakers, they are installed in trunk behind rear seat back. Tires are Goodyear Tiempo size P195/75/14 M/S with lots of tread but about 10 years old and hub caps are like original. Okay so this is what your bidding on: A nice 67 Classic Mustang coupe brought back to near original, low miles, garage kept most of the time. A really solid daily driver for anyone. This car is fast and sounds sweet. Check out the pictures and hope you consider bidding. Thanks for your time. Buyer is responsible for picking up and or shipping.
