Hello all, As much as I would like to keep this car, I can't afford to keep 3 cars and do all the maintainance on them.This fine car has NEVER been smoked in ( all 3 Cigarette Lighters have never been used) and the car has been garage kept all it's life and should go to a home with a garage to preserve it's excellent condition..I bought this car from CT about 2 Months ago and have been driving it a few times a week for long trips..The car rides very smooth and is quite luxurious..There are no stories with this engine or transmission, the car is reliable enough to drive to California TONIGHT..This car that has only had 2 owners prior to myself..We all know that many of the original 350SD diesel engines had problems with bent Rods and Head Gaskets ..No worries there, this car had a Brand New Engine bought from Mercedes Benz ($11,280) and professionally installed in 2003 WITH RECIEPT to the tune of $15,000!! . It's the Upgraded engine with the stronger Rods..I just did diesel purge and but 2 Brand new Fuel Filters and she gets up to 60MPH in no time on the Highway..She will cruise the Highway at 80MPH all day and all night long.This car Retailed for $53,900 in 1991..It is a RARE model (Try to find a Black on Black Mercedes Diesel, Let alone a Black on Black 350SD) there were only 631 units imported to the US..No dents or dings and the paint is very shiny like glass..On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the body a 9..I would rate the interior a 9 also and With the small rip in the drivers seat fixed, I would rate the it a 10..The are a few minor imperfections on the paint here and there and that's it. Every button and switch works Flawlesslly including Cruise Control, Both Power Seats, all 4 Power Windows, moonroof, and every button on the Climate Controls. The Turbo Spools up exactly the way it should, has a nice little whistle and the car has plenty of Power..Being a diesel, there is NO INSPECTION REQUIRED on this vehicle in NJ so it has no inspection sticker..I put a new K&N Air Filter, New Fuel Filters, and return lines and did a Diesel Purge with Lubro Moly Diesel Purge and have averaged between 28 & 30 MPG on the Highway. 2 owners..Carfax shows an accident which was minor scrapes that were repaired..Car does need a few things like Ball Joints ($200), Motor Mounts ($200), Rear Sway Bar Bushings ($100) ..Also the power antenna doesn't go up and down all the way but still gets great FM Reception..Needs new Mast ($35)...The power Steering Box Leaks but I am including a Remanufactured Steering box FREE with the purchase of the car.You are welcome to come by and take it for a nice cruise.I am very confident in the reliabilty of this car but being a used car, it is being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Original Transmission shifts very firm and precise. Interior in excellent condition except small rip in driver's seat in the Lower Back area..Can have repaired in 1 Day for $150 added to final sale price..This repair would make the interior MINT. NON SMOKER CAR! Air conditioning Blows COLDDrivers SIde and Passengers Side Power Seats work perfect!!Cruise Control Functions perfect. Climate control system performs the way it should. Heat works great. Cooling system professionally flushed by Mercedes Tech. Brand New K&N Air Filter. Brand New Fuel Filters. Diesel Purge just Performed with Lubro Moly Product. Brand New JVC in Dash CD Player with USB Port and Remote. 6 Speaker Factory Sound System with 2 Amplifiers Sounds Great! Brakes work great, however there is a slight shimmy due to the ball joint needing replacement. Glow Plugs work great and car starts Right up Every time.
