Greetings, I have a 1979 Trans Am for sale. The vin number proves it to be a 10th anniversarry edition trans am. It has a rebuilt TH-350 Transmission, and I put a pontiac 400 engine in the car. It has a new alternator, starter, spark plugs, belts, hoses, fuel pump, radiator, and replaced the gaskets in the engine. I have two different quadrajet carbs that both work. One is mechanical and the other is electrical. I have the mechanical one mounted on the vehicle. They both are included with the vehicle. I put headers on the motor, but I have the original exaust as well. They need to be connected to the dual exaust pipes on the vehicle. The vehicle has the turbo wheels, and the firebird hub caps that are original to the vehicle. It does run and drive. It needs to be timed properly, and the carb needs adjusting. The brakes will slow the car down, but not stop it unless it's in neutral. It needs interior work. It's been sanded, primered, and sprayed with protective enamel. The intake on the vehicle is a "high rise intake" but I have another one that will come with the vehicle thats been bead blasted and painted. I also have a TH-400 4 speed Transmission that will come with the vehicle if desired. The car is a collectors edition vehicle. It needs a good home and some TLC. You will need to tow the vehicle because it's running straight hedders, and the brakes won't stop you properly. This is a project car, and will still need some restoration.
