Vehicle Detail
THIS IS A FANTASTIC JEEP CHEROKEE WITH A LOT OF LIFE LEFT IN IT! I JUST PUT NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS, A NEW U JOINT, RECHARGED THE A/C, AND GAVE HER A FRESH OIL CHANGE! It has REMOTE START, with 2 remotes, CRUISE CONTROL, CD player, SUN ROOF, ROOF RACK, TOW PACKAGE, AND HEAVY DUTY RUBBER MATS THROUGHOUT! This vehicle wants to be driven. It also has NEAR NEW TIRES, (just got new tires last year, maybe a thousand miles on them, not quite soon enough, hence the wrinkle in the fender). I bought this jeep with 18000 miles on it and have driven it since, but purchased a newer SUV and unfortunately need to give her up. There were NO SMOKERS in this vehicle. The original manual is still in the glovebox. The 4 wheel drive is solid as can be, and it's a joy to drive in the winter, no matter what the roads are like. This vehicle does have the normal nicks and scratches that an 11 year old vehicle does, as well as a wrinkle in the driver side fender, and some rust. The rust is mainly along the bottoms of the doors and side panels. There was one rust patch that was on the passenger side roof, but this was patched up and paint matched as well as I could, I'll include a pint of the paint that I had mixed for it ($30, ouch). I tried to show these spots in the pics as best as I could, I DON'T WANT TO MISLEAD, SO IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR WANT TO SEE MORE PICTURES PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I put a CD player in this, but the speakers could use an upgrade I'm sure. Also, the passenger side window controls don't work, but it can still be controlled on the drivers side. The seats are in pretty nice shape, I just put the covers on them to protect them. The driver side seat has the usual crack on the side but nothing major. Also, as an fyi for this and many jeeps, after driving for more than about 3 hours when you come to idle the temp gauge will drop and the check engine light comes on, but I've had this checked out and it's just a sensor and the check engine light always just goes back off, nothing worth worrying about. AGAIN, I'm trying list everything about this vehicle, if you're buying from a dealer beware because these vehicle are quirky, so it's nice to know the ins and outs and there is no way without driving in them for a few thousand miles they can know what's up. This vehicle is for sale locally, but as long as the price is decent I'll honor the high bid and not end early ***I've had a couple of questions, so I just want to let people know that this was a daily driver up until the last couple of months when I got my new car. I've had no issues, and I routinely drove it north for the weekend, over 500 miles round trip. I would have no reservations about hopping in and taking driving this coast to coast right now...
