Information on 1975 FJ-40 TOYOTA Land Cruiser Original Inline 6 cylinder gasoline engine Original 4-Speed Transmission 4x4 and Manual locking hubs work great. Drum breaks all around No power steering. Original Mileage: 102,324 miles Odometer works fine Never wrecked. Small ding under right ambulance door on the rear end, please see Photo. Engine mounts replaced. The undercarriage was undercoated New front and rear break (drums) Front knuckles were completely redone (all stock Toyota parts). Radiator was cleaned and dipped Carburetor was rebuilt. Painted OD green. Custom front bumper Custom rear bumper, swings out in two parts, with spare-tire carrier and basket for gas cans or small to medium cooler. The entire tub was Rhino Lined professionally from the fire wall to the edge of the rear end as well as the fenders. New gray in color Upholstery on the front two seats and rear bench (I do not have the original jump seats). A set (2)of great tough front seat covers Camo Green in color. Rear bench is after market by Spector Offroad. Tires are almost new, 31's, Big O MT's. There is no rust whatsoever on the body of the cruiser, this was in Arizona for a long time and has been in west Texas for the past 6 yrs. This FJ has been garaged since I've owned it (2001). The FJ has never been lifted or modified in any way. The FJ has after market headers that were there when I purchased it. All glass is intact, no chips or broken glass. What I would recommend that this FJ40 needs in order to take it to the next step is; convert front drum brakes to disk brakes and have a power steering unit installed. Both kits can be purchased for under $1,000. This would make driving this classic a bit more comfortable. Now, what does the FJ40 need; only the headliner fabric (it has the foam already). It needs both sun visors and a rear view mirror Included in the Sale: Original Front Doors (Qty-2): Both are in good shape. They each need gaskets. The windows need some attention in reference to them going up and down smoothly. I have never had to use the doors in a warm city like El Paso plus it sits in the garage. I just recently put the hard top on in preparation for Sale. Original Rear Ambulance Doors (Qty-2): Both are in good shape They each need gaskets. Glass is perfect. Extras: I have a set (2) of full size soft doors (vinyl-white in color). A second set of soft half-doors (black in color). Bikini top (black in color) with steel rails. Original Roll bar pads (Qty-4) Headrest (Qty-2) with covers to match seat covers (Camo-Green) Complete Steel Tube Frame for a soft top, the soft top is no longer usable (too brittle, I will throw it in if you want). I have other spare parts that I will throw in with the FJ. New steering stabilizer still in the box. K&N Air Filter -New- with Recharger Service Care Kit.
