Up for Auction: 1979 PORSCHE 911 SLANT NOSE TARGA with 74,051 Miles. This is NON TURBO 911 SC. It's powered by 3.0L mechanically sound engine. Mileage seems to be original and can be supported by some service records. 5 speed mechanical transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch is very tight with no slipping. There is no smoke and no oil leaks. The A/C components have been removed by previous owner. The slant nose fenders and panels are steel, not the fiberglass conversion kit. Head Lights are opening and closing as they should, with newer motors. Overall all body panels are straight, nicely aligned and free of corrosion. The aftermarket DP tail is full fiberglass piece, professionally painted to imitate the rubber trim. Front spoiler is custom made fiberglass piece with bottom Kevlar reinforcement, to add extra strength. Adjustable aftermarket fog lights were added to improve visibility at night. Targa top is in good original shape, with little bit of wind noise coming through, but it does not leak. The paint is not original and it's in good condition. It has some rock chips and small surface scratches. The paint has a nice shine and I would give it 7.5 out of 10, being very critical and honest. (10 being the best). 3 piece 15"Gotti wheels with less than 700 M tires in the back 345/45/15 and older 225/50/15 in the front (50% live left). These wheels look amazing. Recent service and maintenance in last 700 Miles: Oil change Transmition fluid change New Batery Valves addjusted with all new gaskets All 6 injectors cleaned New spark plugs Front & Rear wheel bearings repacked and regressed New front windshield with new seal and trim New trunk seal OEM spare tire, jack and manual not in pictures, but they come with the car. Itereior is in good original condition. Leather seats, door panels, dash and carpet are in good condition according to the age of the car and concistant with the value of the car. This 911 comes with 2 keys. Overal condition is exeptional and the car is a very strong driver for its age. Be ready to have some fun on weekend rides or use it as daily driver.
