Vehicle Detail

Early MGB roadster in original condition. All there except gas tank and sending unit. Car starts, runs and drives using a temporary fuel can. Car maintains good oil pressure warm. Snug-top hard top and packaway hood included. You will see attached the BMIHT production trace certificate indicating that this is an original iris blue, overdrive, wire wheel car. The body, car and engine numbers match. I have owned the car for 20 years during which time it has always been stored inside. I recently moved from Virginia to Ohio and will not have time/place to restore this car here. Car includes BMC passport to service indicated car was serviced at Tysinger Motor Company in Hampton, Virginia. Front floors have significant rust. Rear floors are pretty solid. Passenger side front fender and rocker panel under door have significant rust from sitting outside from prior ownership, but with hard top in place. Trunk is very solid and has no rust. Original aluminum hood is bent and will not close and will need to be replaced. Pull hand doors open and shut with click. The car has not sagged because it has not been driven with rust. Grille is the early style grille with rivets. Oil cooler is early style etc. It is all there. I went through brake and clutch hydraulics, carburetors and put a battery in the car so could be driven onto trailer and in/out of storage when I moved to Ohio. Turn signals, brake lights etc all work. This was the advertising color and equipment combination used in the early MGB ads. It is a great car to restore and in restored condition would be one of the most valuable MGB configurations. I am trying to post digital video on utube of the car driving around the storage facility yesterday. On Sep-15-11 at 17:09:04 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW ADDITION: YouTube Link for your viewing pleasure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MadFX8A1JQ
