On Sep-11-11 at 21:13:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Responses to varied questions made public: Can I stop by to see the Spider Bertone? Yes, absolutely, inspections are welcome and recommended. Click contact seller to arrange. Can I drive car back to Iowa? Not recommended. Could it make it? Maybe. But the gas alone would cost as much as the shipping. It doesn't look like there is a convertible roof currently with the car. How much of one is left? Agreed. But for $300 over high bid, will procure and install gratis a convertible top. Current vinyl= not good. (Addendum: it’s precipitation free in the Bay Area, April thru September, why it wasn’t particularly important to me to address, but given we're selling, it makes sense.) Gas cap? Rear bumper? Admittedly embarrassing, of course there is a gas cap and/or bumper and too bad those didn’t make the photographs. My husband, being the perfectionist that he is, decided to pull the gas tank to plasti-kote it, gas-cap is back (it has a key). Bumper was removed/reinstalled with re-built motor and original transmission. Rebuilt motor? Receipts? Parts: Rings = $90. Rod bearings = $75. The former from www.international-auto.com. The latter from http://www.fiatplus.com = Chris Obert. Between those two, you’ll never be at a loss for over-nighted parts of every part on this dreamcar. How quickly does it have to be moved? With payment in full, glad to store, for free, for up to 3 months or until shipment arrangements are made.
